I had a lovely, picture-full post planned, but my camera betrayed me by eating its batteries far, far too quickly.
So although I got a bit done on my Nautical sampler, I'll have to show it off later.
I did get pics of two smaller projects:
Aerith
x2
I also got two pretty patterns from the HAED sale!
I um... I'll admit I really don't like the 'Faces of Faerie' series. At all. Little girls with big eyes and cupid mouths are just not my thing.
Yet somehow, this wound up in my basket.
I'm still blinking.
I think it was the egg. I'll admit I like Faberge eggs. That it was a fundraiser for Japan helped, too.
Faces #150
Anything by Sessler, however, I love. I'm determined to get almost all of them... I especially like the fact that she creates males. There are so few patterns of guys in the stitching world.
Sunset Fire
Oh no, I can't believe I missed the IHSW again! I was so sure it will be next weekend! *sob* But your hermit project looks so good, great work with those tinies :D And I SO AGREE that there's a lack of male characters in patterns, lol! I really should check this, thanks for pointing it out
ReplyDeleteOh, cool! You were quite a bit more productive during the weekend than I was, and the stitches look so cute! Thank you for making them, too! ^^ If it's alright in this case, I'd like to feature them in my next post.
ReplyDeleteOooooh cute, cute, cute, Tama. :D
ReplyDeleteI love Sessler too. I've always wanted to stitch The Cripple.... maybe one of these days.
Love the Aerith stitches! And nice chart choices =)
ReplyDeleteLovely new charts. I'm not a huge fan of the faces of faery either, but I love their eyes. The colors in them are amazing!! Hope you enjoy them both. And grats on the finishes too. They're both cute. Can't wait to see your other progress piccy too!!
