August worked out fairly well (You're so right about 3 of 4, Lana! and for me, 1 of 4 would have been a shock, lol!) so I'm trying goals out again.
1. Finish second floor balcony on 'Brinkerhoff Home'
2. Work on Archangel (enough for a scan)
3. 100 stitches on a UFO
4. 1 motif on Mary Wigham (I'm starting one of the larger ones, and I know me. One will probably be it)
5. 10 hours on L&L's 'Mother's Tree'

August's Goals Met?
These were my goals for August:
1. Finish 'Sheep for Thee' - yes!
2. Work on 'Archangel' - yes, but not enough for a scan
3. 100 stitches on a UFO - yes, see pic below
4. 3 motifs on 'Mary Wigham' - no, only one
The UFO I worked on was 'Brinkerhoff Home' by Debbie Patrick, and I got 207 whole amazing stitches done (hehehe) so far!

I plan to finish the second balcony & window before I put it away, but I did want to get a pic up.
I'll put a pic of Mary's newest motif up soon. I'm trying to decide which motif to start next.

Sheep for Thee!
I finished this almost two weeks ago, but I've been on vacation!
The pic is very long (it had to be pieced together after it was scanned) so you'll probably need to click on it. I named the sheep - I'm silly that way - they are (left to right) Patch, Striper, Argyle, Swirls, Dotty, and Mocha. Dotty has ecru french knots; I may change them to dark brown, but knowing me, probably not :D
I took Mary Wigham with me to stitch, and since I've seen some pretty pics of her in different locations, I thought I'd show her off at the farm I was staying at.
Too bad she was a bit wrinkled!

More Sheep!
I'm really enjoying my little tweed sheep. Only 2 and 3/4 sheep to go :D
(you may need to click the pic to see all of them)

July & August
I didn't really have a goal for July beyond finishing 'Achoo!'
I thought I might try again with goals for August, though I've never really made it before :D
1. Finish 'Sheep for Thee'
2. Work on 'Archangel'
3. 100 stitches on a UFO
4. 3 motifs on 'Mary Wigham'

Gettysburg and a Little Sheep
Dase totally inspired me for July's UFO project - after seeing her incredible progress on Gettysburg, I just had to get my poor, barely-touched kit out and give it some luv.

Here's before:
And here's after:
I may get a bit more done on it before I put it away. I hope! My Da would really like to have this. You know, someday. Some far off, beautiful day... :D
And since I finished 'Achoo!' I decided I could start something else! Right? Yay! But I didn't want to start a big project. So here's my little bitty sheep. He's from the pattern 'Sheep for Thee' which I think is by Bent Creek but for the life of me I can't remember and it's at home right now.
There are five more sheep to go :D This sheep was supposed to be done in ecru (for the DMC version) but even though I used the recommened fabric color, it just didn't show up. So I tweeded him with the lightest shade of brown.

Achoo!
Well, I didn't get my day off last week like I wanted, but this week I did!
Which means...
My puppy is finished!!!
Yay!
Pattern: 'Achoo!' by Brett Longley
Floss/Fabric: Dimensions kit
Finished Size: 12 x 10 inches
I really enjoyed the pattern, but half-stitches with 5 strands of floss are No. Fun.
Let's see - I started this one Jan 1st, 2009, worked on it for about 4 days, then worked on it... uh, in March or April, I think - and then the last couple weeks of my very sparse spare time. (I really need a vacation.) So it didn't actually take all that long - it just seems like it!
