Mary's Motif for March

My title has alliteration, lol!

Anyway, here's Mary's progress:



I did the pink motif and the yellow initials (my Dad's)

Off to try for 10 more hours on 'Market' this month; I want to work on Spike or start a new HAED, but I'm determined to get Market done soon.

Oh, and I've been doing job training all week so while I had a little free time, I stitched instead of reading blogs. I'll catch up, I promise! :D

My Little Alien Face...

Here's my progress on 'Mermaid of the Deep SK' after the SAL:

I finished all the black, all the 939, and finished off a few of the random small colors. Maybe I'll finish this page next month before the second page arrives - who knows?

But doesn't she look sort of like an alien? LOL!

And I finished this ornament back on the 9th. The colors are very, very wrong but I took the pic at o-dark-thirty last night when I realized I had forgotten to post it.

I will try to get a better pic if the sun ever comes out here again. It's been raining all week.

L*K 'Bloom'

Here's my Bride's Tree SAL finish for March - the theme was 'flowers'.

L*K's freebie 'Bloom'.

Started March 1st, finshed March 2nd.

I changed the color of the word to match the green variegated I used for the flower stems. I'm not sure what kind of floss it is - I found it label-less in a clearance aisle; a HUGE skien. This is the fourth or fifth project I've used it on.

Bright colors, flowers, spring green - so nice to stitch this because it's cold and GREY and snowing yet AGAIN here...

Sorta Met My Goals...

I met most of my February goals - 'Going to Market' didn't get as far as I wanted, though.

eh. Like I said, not as far as I wanted. Guess I'll try to wrap it up in March :D

I did get some work done on my dolphin-UFO, though. Mostly waiting in line at the bank's drive-through.

I kept forgetting to go back and stitch those last 11 stitches on the dolphins; otherwise they would be done except for eyes and backstitching.
