Girls with Guantlets

I stitched two!

She-Ra and Rinoa

She-Ra is quite sparkly; I used gold metallic in her costume for the fun of it. Well, the fun of the results. Stitching with that stuff is not fun. As always, Sprite patterns are by Missy.

I joined a short SAL for HAED designs, and finished up the 310 on my current page of Rapture. I started on the 902, but didn't get all that far. I also did some stitches of the more random colors, like the barely-visible pinkish stitches at the top. Still looks like it has some sort of skin disease. This is the most confetti-ed HAED I've started yet.

  3. HAEDs are always confetti filled, lol. But it's so worth it in the end. (I say that, but I haven't finished one yet.) And although she may look like she has mange now, she's gonna be fabulous when finished. BTW, my friend Julie and I laughed uproariously about your mange comment in your previous entry. It was great!! Extremely hilarious.

  4. Ah, I can't believe I didn't comment on this yet! Both of the sprites look excellent (and'll probably be featured over at Dork Stitch later today), and even though glitter floss is a pain, it looks well worth it. Your HAED looks really nice so far, too- even if it is blotchy now, it's always cool to see progress on these, to watch the often confusing-at-the-start picture take shape through a pile of blog posts.
