I have been working on catching up on the Mini Rings of Change CAL, hosted HERE
Finally got caught up, at least to this week!
Week 7 - Black and Bright Yellow
Week 8 - one round, in Blue (the other blue in the afghan is Delft Blue, this one is just bluntly 'Blue')
Week 9 - two rounds of Raspberry, black again, and orange. There is a lot more black in this afghan than I thought I saw in the original picture - I'm changing all the other colors but whenever the original says black, I'm stitching black.
So, we are on Week 10 so I'm caught up until Friday! I might make this week's rounds by then. Also have a few (lot) more ends to weave in!
I am getting really tempted by some other afghans that I've seen, especially the full size patterns that the designer of Mini-Rings has. I also have a tiny amigurumi to stitch this week for a birthday gift, so there will be lots of crochet on the blog in the next few days.
I am just loving this! The colours are great!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I can't believe this is only a mini, how big are the regular ones?!
ReplyDeleteThey are huge! I'm buying the big pattern when I get paid, so I'll post a picture. Not sure of the finished size but I think it's 92 inches.
DeleteYour blanket looks great Tama. I love your color choices. I don't use black, so my black sections are magenta.

It looks wonderful, Tama :-) I'll add the pictures when I update the page (very behind on that!). There is a lot of black in it; if I make another one I don't think I'll use the black. I love all your color choices.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are lovely, great progress;)
ReplyDeleteLove it!
