Wahoo!

These pics are not great but I didn't get home until after 8 PM and I found myself unable to wait for daylight!

I finished the 'Noel' stocking!

I love the little peppermint candy - don't like to eat them, but this one came out so cute!  Anyway, this is stocking #30!

Of a kit of - 30!!!

THEY ARE DONE, WOO HOO!

All laid out in rows - I didn't use the big piece of white that came in the kit, obviously - I wanted a few different colors.  They are stitched on white, off white, cream, oatmeal 'rustico', red, green and grey.  They are about 4.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide at the 'foot'.  I love how the designs make the stocking shapes!

Now to sweet-talk my aunt in to sewing them up for me - I'm not risking them with my so-so sewing skills!

(Bonus, I also have a big ol' piece of white aida to stitch something else on.)

(Bonus #2 - this is a Turtle Trot project finished off!!! Should I replace it or just keep going with nine?  Hmm...)

Only problem is - now what do I carry in my purse?!  HAHAHAHA

    1. They are supposed to be for my Mum's tree; she has always wanted a tree with all handmade decorations. I have made her some crocheted snowflakes and ornaments but she needs more :D

  6. Congratulations on finishing all of the ornaments Tama. They look great. If your mom needs more ornaments you could always start another set to carry in your purse. I think you should add another piece to your turtle trot's.

  11. Oh yay! It's been fun watching you progress through these! I think you need MORE STASH for your purse stitching now :D My favorite is the kitty or maybe the one directly under the red one.
