G is for Ghost

Another from etsy!

This is one of the first amigurumi I ever made!  I used the biggest set of safety eyes I had, but he really needed a size bigger.  Once safety eyes are on, they are on, though - there's no turning back unless you're willing to break them!

Still much cuteness and squee-ing! lol!  I think he's quite cute, haunting my very messy bookshelf! (I really need to straighten that up - it usually looks much better, promise!)

He took very little time, and I'll probably make more of him someday :D  With bigger eyes!

Here's an update for you - the component parts of a grey kitty!

As soon as I find my yarn needle, embroider his wee nose, and stuff the body, he will be a complete grey kitty!

Happy Stitching!

    1. If you really want one, I can do that :D I've got about four commissions so far, which was not my intention when I chose this topic but I do not mind a bit, lol!

  3. Oh that wee ghostie is soooooo sweet! Boy you have a lot of those 'dummies' books. Do they really work to help you learn languages and stuff?

    1. They can give you the basics. There's nothing like a language class where you're speaking it with other people, though. I'm still trying to figure out how I ended up with two volumes of Italian for Dummies, lol!

  5. Your ghost is adorable but I agree he would look even cuter with bigger eyes. A cute ghost could haunt my bookcase antydet. Wonder if they make glow in the dark crochet thread, that would be awesome. Your Kitty is coming along nicely too.

  7. Love the ghostie! I know of a knitted one and will be getting that at some point. Do you think they have glow-in-the-dark wool?

    1. I don't know if there's a glow-in-the-dark yarn, but I was thinking of using one strand of white yarn and one strand of white glow-in-the-dark embroidery floss held together. Wouldn't hurt to try, anyway :D
