A is for Alien

I almost decided not to do this - almost!

I am definitely not doing a cross stitch pattern like I did last year.  Mainly because the one I would have done is not longer available, but still!

I thought I would do amigurumi patterns, since I don't know very many people who stitch those.  I haven't found one for every letter yet, so this should be fun!

Definition straight from Google!  Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, usually cute, stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures.  The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.

I love amigurumi, and although I am NOT crocheting one each day, nor do I have finished projects for each pattern, I do hope to have two amigurumi projects done by the end of this month, and you'll see them as the posts go by :D

For post number one:  A is for Alien!

This pattern is from planetjune, and you'll see a lot of her stuff this month!

So, I have made the little green alien - he has pipe cleaners in his arms and legs so you can pose him - the blue one is plainly sewn together, for younger kids.  He has no safety eyes, and I sadly have no picture, as he was given to his owner the day after he was finished.  Bad me!  I will try to get a pic before the end of the month, but really - he looks just like that green alien, except I made him with Red Heart Glowworm so he is very bright green!
