I is for Inara

I is for Inara Serra - the first character in my Whedon - Verse alphabet that is not from the show 'Buffy; the Vampire Slayer' or 'Angel; the Series'

Inara is from the show Firefly (and the movie, Serenity.)

Inara is a 'high-society courtesan - called a Companion - who rents a shuttle from the captain of the Firefly, Mal.  Companions are legal and required to have a licsense and claim to chose their clients for mental compatibility and not looks.  Here's a LINK for Inara;  she is pretty much the love interest in the show.

I'm looking forward to stitching the next block; it has my favorite character from Firefly - Spike is my favorite in the whole Whedon-verse, but J is for Jayne! Yay!
