J is for Jayne Cobb!
Jayne is my favorite! Well, Spike is my favorite - Jayne is my favorite from Firefly! He totally and completely cracks me up, plus he's about on Spike's level as far as the other characters treatment of him. Here's a LINK for Jayne! (I love his name, too!) And he's responsible for the favorite line, "I'll be in my bunk."

Jayne's symbol is the hat - gotta love the hat! His Mama, who's name is Radiant Cobb (love it!) made the hat for him. Jayne referred to it as 'cunning'. Wash, a shipmate, said, "A man walks down the street in that hat, people know he's not afraid of anything."
I've made this hat twice so far, only mine are crocheted instead of knitted. Gotta learn to knit so I can make the exact one!

I'm going to try and make a more authentic-looking one with my own pattern. But I still like these! The pattern for them was a freebie online and I've long since lost the link.
